Also known as Poor Man's Box, the Box Leafed Privet is non-invasive and will not grow berries. It is quite hardy, it also grows in frost prone and coastal areas,handling dry regions when established.  As a hedge it creates definition, statement and privacy. It works well in scattered plantings or as a contrasting border.

Growth rate: Fast.

Form:  Rounded, upright

Foliage:  Dark green

Tolerances: Ligustrum undulatum - Box Leafed Privet prefers a sunny position to part shade and thrives in moist well drained soils. It is frost resistant.

Landscape use:  Small bordering hedge for pathways or garden beds.
